The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

If you have a complaint it will be taken seriously and dealt with promptly. You may make such a complaint either verbally or in writing. The Clinical Team is supported by our Administrative team. This includes Receptionists, Secretaries and Clerical staff. Together they work with our patients and clinicians, monitor referrals to Consultants and hospitals, administer prescription requests, book appointments and generally ensure the smooth running of our surgery. To ensure an efficient flow of information, it may be necessary for our staff to request certain clinical information. All practice staff are bound by patient confidentially agreements. Should you have any concerns or comments regarding our administrative team, our Operations Manager Lucy Corry will be happy to discuss these.
Our Clinical Pharmacist advises doctors at the surgery with prescribing queries, carries out medication reviews and addresses patient safety issues. She also undertakes annual reviews for people with Hypertension, Cardiovascular disease (CVD) and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) with the advanced training to prescribe new medications as required.
Our Pharmacy Technicians supports the Clinical Pharmacist with administering medication queries and changes.
